West Ham United midfielder Dimitri Payet is looking forward to working with manager Slaven Bilic.

Payet has been impressed by the new gaffer.

“I know first that he got Laurent Blanc sent off in the 1998 World Cup!" he said. “In terms of what I've observed since I've been here, though, is that he is very close to his players.

"He made me feel very welcome as soon as I arrived and since then we've had a good chat about how and where he wants to use me. I am excited about his project here."
