Roman Pavlyuchenko says Tottenham's players can repay their fans after a dismal season by winning Sunday's Carling Cup final against Manchester United.
The striker said: "It took me a while to adapt my game from the Russian style. Tottenham supporters have shown patience because I think I have shown what I am capable of since.
"I don't approach cup games any differently to league matches but in the Carling Cup things seem to have fallen into place.
"Our Carling Cup run this year has given us something to cling to and everyone is so determined to go all the way now.
"We owe a lot to the supporters who have stood by us through some difficult times. To repay them by winning the trophy would be a great thing."
