Roman Pavlyuchenko has told Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp he's no defender.
The striker said: "Redknapp usually wants me to play close to the opponents' box looking for scoring opportunities. But against Fulham who have very tall players he asked me to come back for set pieces to help the defence.
"But he doesn't know how dangerous I can be in our own box. It happened before that I scored own goals. One I got playing against Lokomotiv once was a brilliant shot!"
Pavlyuchenko also denied he was jealous about Darren Bent's recent goal spree and didn't think he is destined to sit out the season on the bench.
He said: "It's very unpleasant to be at the bottom of the table. That's why for me it's irrelevant who plays: Bent, Pavlyuchenko or someone else. All that matters is that the team wins and climbs off the bottom of the table."
