Tottenham have brushed aside Bolton 4-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup to move into the quarter finals.
Out of favour Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko sent a message to manager Harry Redknapp with a fine performance up forward by netting twice to help Spurs to a seemingly comfortable win.
Pavlyuchenko struck in the 23rd minute with a brilliant turn and shot from inside the area before a bizarre own-goal from Trotters keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen made it 2-0 ten minutes before the break.
And almost immediately after the re-start, it was 3-0 when Andy O'Brien deflected a Gareth Bale cross into the back of Jaaskelainen's net before Pavlyuchenko rounded out the victory three minutes from time with a deft touch and cool finish, grabbing his fourth goal in just a few days.
