Ex-Manchester United defender Paul Parker has launched an astonishing attack on the quartet of Paul Pogba, Matteo Darmian, Anthony Martial and even Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Following a poor start to the season, United have recovered in fine fashion over the past few months or so, and the Red Devils finally look like they are heading towards the right direction following three years of struggle.
Despite United playing well at the moment though, former left-back Parker does not seem to be too impressed with a number of Jose Mourinho's players and has strangely criticised star signings Pogba and Ibrahimovic in particular, as well as Darmian and Martial.
Parker told 888sport about Pogba: "It's impossible for Pogba to justify his fee unless he scores 15 goals a season and has 25 assists. The problem is that he's not playing with the same calibre of players that he had at Juventus so he's trying to do too much and holds onto the ball too long.
"He never had so many touches of the ball at Juventus because maybe now he feels he doesn't have the players around him who he respects."
Speaking about Martial, Parker said: "People say Martial hasn't been given the opportunity but when he has he's not grasped it. Maybe this is the first time I've ever agreed with Mourinho in wanting more from him and you can look at stats but at the end of the day it's about people and what they do in games.
"I still don't think he does enough and gives the ball away cheaply. When he does he then doesn't respect the people around him by working hard trying to get it back again or putting himself in a position to stop opponents progressing."
The former defender then went on to finish his rant by slamming Darmian and bafflingly, Ibrahimovic as well by saying: "Ibrahimovic's goals have been very important but does he enhance the way the team plays? For me there are still negatives and when he scores he gets the headlines but when he doesn't he's not involved in enough play.
"When you keep reading about a new contract you wonder where that's coming from. Given the way Darmian is playing and his lack of opportunities, he won't be there at the start of next season.
"He has to move on because he's seen a right winger take his spot at right-back and Blind get ahead of him at left-back. He's an Italian international and if he wants to continue playing for his country then he has to move on."
