AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is proud of his achievements so far this season.
"Playing in the Champions League was always a dream of mine," the former Internacional man told UEFA.com. "My friends used to play the official UEFA anthem to me, to give me an idea of what it would be like to be there.
Prior to his arrival, there was a heavy weight of expectation on Pato's shoulders after President Silvio Berlusconi predicted he would hit 30 goals.
"I was happy listening to people saying I was a great player," Pato insisted.
"I thank the people at Milan for looking after me, on and off the pitch, and for being my friends. It makes you want to do your best for them.
"These are the players I used to see when I was playing on the Playstation and watch on television.
"They all surprised me when I arrived as they were all humble and friendly and gave me the support I needed. It was also great to play alongside my idol Ronaldo."
