Pastore happy at Palermo indicating no Chelsea move

Javier Pastore has said alleged quotes made by him about leaving Palermo are not true.

The strong Chelsea target was reported as saying, "I feel that the time to leave Palermo has arrived", by Fox Sports Argentina but he has denied making the comments.

Palermo had 'given up' on Pastore after it emerged that he did not want to be at the club but he has since tried to clear his name, saying that he does want to be a part of it with the Sicilians.

"Many people asked me via Twitter if I said that it was time to leave Palermo (as written in Fox Sports Argentina)," said Pastore in a statement.

"The truth is that I never said that because, as I always point out, I am happy at Palermo.

"What I repeat every time is that if I receive an interesting offer that is good for both the club and for me, then we will evaluate it along with Palermo and my agent."
