Liverpool No2 Colin Pascoe says Spanish pair Luis Alberto and Iago Aspas are long-term propositions.
With Sunday's FA Cup clash against Oldham Athletic another potential opportunity for the two Spaniards to impress, Pascoe has shared his faith that each can shine with the passing of time.
"The more they get used to the Premier League, the better they'll get," the assistant manager told journalists gathered at Melwood on Friday.
"They know themselves that sometimes they have to be patient. With Philippe playing well, Luis and Raheem doing really well, the team sort of picks itself a lot of the time. They have just got to wait their turn.
"Like any player - a British player or a foreign player - you hope they gel together. Sometimes you do gel quickly, sometimes you do need time to adapt to the Premier League.
"Iago started the season well and obviously had his injury. He has been working hard; he has to wait his turn like all the strikers do. He did well the other day and, with the way he is training, he is getting better."
