Burnley youngster Wes Fletcher is signing a six-month loan deal with Scottish First Division club Partick Thistle.
The 18-year-old, who scored 35 youth team goals last season, was one of five second-year scholars who signed professional deals and the second senior player this month to head north of the border on loan.
Of Fletcher's move to Firhill, Partick Thistle manager Ian McCall - a friend of Clarets' boss Coyle - said: "We hope he can come in and launch a decent challenge to get into the first-team.
"He has a short spell of time to impress, and if he can come in and show what he can do, it will be good for all of us.
"Hopefully Thistle can benefit from that and the boy gets a few goals, I am sure Wes will relish the chance to play regular first-team football."
