Birmingham City fullback Stuart Parnaby would welcome the prospect of Nathaniel Clyne arriving from Crystal Palace.

Former Middlesbrough trainee Parnaby has only just penned a new deal with the Blues and says he would have no complaint if they were to sign Crystal Palace right-back Clyne.

He told the Birmingham Mail: "That's fine. That's good to have younger lads coming in. It's good for the future of the club.

"I'm not young any more - I don't feel it! - but young lads like that, I'd prefer them to be getting involved in the first team and helping the competition and making us better."
