Parma striker Antonio Cassano is chasing a late call-up to Italy's World Cup squad.

Cassano struck twice in Parma's 4-2 win over AC Milan.

"I swear I'd love to go, as I've never been to a World Cup, and I'm doing everything I can to make the Coach's decision difficult. I don't know what my chances are, but I really hope and am keeping my fingers crossed."

Asked about the AC Milan crisis, Cassano added: "I am an Interista, I'm proud to be an Interista and I don't give a damn about the rest."
