Parma have unveiled Valeri Bojinov and Christian Panucci as their latest signings.
Bojinov arrives on-loan from Manchester City, while Panucci joins on a free transfer from Roma.
"Panucci is a great player," revealed director Pietro Leonardi. "He is a veteran and will be very useful to our cause.
"Bojinov was our first choice. We have been negotiating with the Citizens for a long while.
"Parma is the ideal place for a young and talented player hoping to improve. There were several clubs after him but he made it clear he wanted us," concluded Leonardi.
"I am happy to be back in Italy, my second home," confessed Bojinov.
"This is the perfect club for me. I cannot promise anything, we need to work hard but I know what I can give when I am fit.
"I hope I will stay injury free all season. This club is the only one who came in for me with no doubts so I am delighted to be here and have the chance to feature in Serie A again."
