Parma managing director Pietro Leonardi is delighted with their deal for Inter Milan midfielder McDonald Mariga.

Mariga joined on-loan from Inter on the last day of the January transfer window.

"In Parma we all know the qualities that Mariga has," he told a Press conference. "I did this deal with Inter in about five minutes, because we all wanted him to join.

"The fans have to have patience with him though. The boy has only just got back from a long-term injury."
