Parma are locked in talks with Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov.
Corriere della Sera says the Bulgaria international is keen on a return to Italy and has welcomed the interest of Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi.
Ghirardi is desperate to strengthen his strikeforce and has the money available to meet City's asking price for Bojinov.
