Parma striker Valeri Bojinov is in negotiations with Sporting Lisbon.

The 25-year-old Bulgarian is thought to be very close to completing a loan move to Portugal.

"I can confirm Sporting are one of the sides who are very interested in Bojinov and are in negotiations for a possible transfer," agent Gennaro Palomba told A Bola newspaper.

"However, I am not yet certain he will go to Sporting, because there are other teams who are interested.

"It's true that Malaga are tracking Bojinov, but also other European top level clubs. Sporting's interest has been noted for quite some time."
