Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov has ruled out returning to England when his loan with Parma expires.

The Bulgaria international is currently on a season-loan loan with Parma.

"The club know that I want to stay," said Bojinov. "I still have a year on my contract with City, a club who waited for me to recover from injury.

"But I needed a place which could allow me the possibility to do my job again. I wanted to come back to Italy."
