Parma are set to stun Italian football by clinching a deal for Estudiantes star fullback Marcos Angeleri.

The ambitious Serie B club have tabled a £3 million bid to the Argentines for Angeleri, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi will fly Angeleri to Italy for talks over a four-year contract. It will be an incredible coup for Ghirardi, who has stepped in as Inter and Lazio continue their six month battle for the Argentina international.
