Parma have approached Manchester United for striker Federico Macheda.
Tuttosport says Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi wants to take Macheda on-loan for next season.
Ghirardi is banking on goodwill with United over the way they allowed Giuseppe Rossi to move to the Premiership giants to clinch a deal for 17 year-old Macheda.
