Parma midfielder Daniele Galloppa has taken a swipe at Sampdoria striker Antonio Cassano over his Italy snub.
Galloppa says Cassano has only himself to blame over his failure to reclaim a place in the Azzurri squad.
"I think fans and Press are talking way too much about it," noted Galloppa. "If such a talented player doesn't make it in the national team then you have to start wondering why. In this situation it is clear he only himself to blame."
Galloppa also gave his opinion regarding Giampaolo Pazzini's comments over Amauri.
"Amauri is a great player, but he is Brazilian not Italian.
"If Lippi calls him that would cause a domino effect and I am not sure this is the right thing to do."
