Parma are pushing to sign Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane this week.

Sky Italia says Parma are banking on taking Benalouane on a free transfer.

Benalouane is keen on the move, though needs to negotiate a pay-off before returning to Italy.

The former Atalanta stopper is not in Leicester boss Claude Puel's plans and been encouraged to leave this summer.

If Benalouane can negotiate a release, Parma will immediately snap him up.
