Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi says Fabio Borini's future depends on AS Roma.

The two clubs co-own Borini's contract.

"Borini can't return to Parma," Ghirardi told Gazzetta Giallorossa in an interview. "When a player is linked with a club like Roma then he can't come back to a club like Parma.

"Roma will have to carefully evaluate their options. They can either keep him or decide to cash in on him given that a lot of important clubs are interested in his signature."
