Parma president Ghirardi opens door to Juventus legend Del Piero

Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi would welcome the signing of Juventus captain Alessandro del Piero.

Del Piero is leaving Juve at the end of this season.

"I hope that Del Piero can stay in Italian football,” Ghirardi told Tuttosport on Tuesday. “He’s a great man as well as being a great player.

“If he wanted to continue his career here in Italy then he would find a door open for him at Parma.”
