Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi is exploring the prospect of bringing Cristiano Lucarelli back to Italy.
The Shakhtar Donetsk striker has Livorno, Torino, Genoa, AC Milan, Palermo and Lazio interested in taking him on-loan this month.
ControCampo says Ghirardi is also keen and Parma are now prepared to offer £3.5 million to sign Lucarelli, 32, permanently.
