Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi is moving for Chelsea striker Fabio Borini.
Borini has rejected a new contract offer from the Blues and can leave as a free agent in June.
With Parma deep in the relegation mire, Ghirardi doesn't have time to wait until then and will make a January offer for Borini.
Borini was in Italy a fortnight ago to see Parma play AS Roma.
