Parma president Tomasso Ghirardi has moved to cool talk of a January deal for AC Milan striker Pippo Inzaghi.
The veteran has been linked with high-flying Parma after losing his first-choice status this season under coach Leonardo.
But Ghirardi says: "I like him a lot, both as a player and a man. Everyone knows that he is my friend, but it will be impossible for him to play in Parma.
"I could only afford him if we were in the Champions League!"
