Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante has revealed he's in talks with Inter Milan.

Mirante will leave relegated Parma at the end of this season.

"It makes me very proud to be linked with certain teams, but I promised myself and my agent that I will only talk about this when the transfer market has closed," Mirante told reporters at the Premio Gentleman event.

"Inter are a great club, so who wouldn't like to go there? I am certainly an ambitious person. I want to play and prove myself, especially after a year like this. We'll wait until two Mondays from now and then see what happens.

"Has there been any contact with Inter? My agent told me they spoke a month ago, but I asked him to take care of it. As I said before, I am very flattered."
