Parma defender Christian Panucci wants to play on next season - with Fiorentina.

The former Roma, AC Milan and Real Madrid fullback is off contract from Parma and has declared hopes of pulling on the Viola shirt before he retires.

Panucci's agent, Oscar Damiani, said: "He said to me, his desire is to play for Fiorentina and I'm not surprised by his words. For now, though we have not spoken with (Pantaleo) Corvino, there is no negotiations in progress. Later we'll see ..."
