Parma coach Francesco Guidolin has welcomed their summer market work.

Blerim Dzemaili, Cristian Zaccardo and Nicola Amoruso have all arrived at the Serie A new boys and Guidolin declared: "Even if they have to fully understand our tactics and settle into their roles in the squad, I am satisfied with their work so far."

Amoruso admits he was brought in to act as a mentor every bit as much as his contribution on the pitch.

"I hope to be a reference point for the youngsters. I am at the Coach's disposal and if there is the opportunity to mete out advice, I'm happy to do that."
