The agent of Modibo Diakite insists his client could quite possibly depart Sunderland this winter.
The 26-year old French defender, who joined the Black Cats from Lazio in the summer, is a target for Serie A clubs Parma and Chievo Verona with his representative Ulisse Savini suggesting a move back to Italy is a possibility.
"Modibo could return to Italy in this January transfer window, there is a 50 per cent chance," Savini told Tuttomercatoweb.
"Parma and Chievo are interested in him. But it is possible even he could remain in the Premier League, we are evaluating various options."
