Parma chief Leonardi reveals failed Sunderland bid for Biabiany

Parma sports director Pietro Leonardo admits they turned down an offer from Sunderland for Jonathan Biabiany.

Sunderland were pushing to sign the winger over the summer.

"We did our best on the market and we refused several proposals," Leonardo told Parma Channel.

"For example, Sunderland had made us an offer for Biabiany, but we turned it down. We also rejected a bid for Nicola Sansone. This is a squad that includes all the necessary alternatives. "
