Parma coach Roberto Donadoni was delighted with their friendly win over Fulham on the weekend.
The Ducali had gone behind in the London friendly, but Gabriel Paletta and Nicola Sansone completed the comeback for a 2-1 victory.
"It was a good performance against Fulham, who are at a more advanced stage of pre-season preparation," said the Coach. "Victories like this are above all good for self-esteem.
"We are happy to have ended pre-season unbeaten. Apart from Fulham's goal, they created very little and we had several scoring opportunities against an important team. I liked the spirit with which we played.
"Mattia Cassani made a good debut, showing already how his versatility will prove useful. As for Antonio Cassano, in recent years he hasn't really had pre-season training, which can make a huge difference. Now he needs the determination to rediscover his form."
