Parma coach Roberto Donadoni was delighted with victory over Napoli.

Antonio Cassano scored the only goal of the game.

Donadoni said: "When we play with this intensity, we can achieve a great deal in any arena. In the past we perhaps lacked that extra bit of determination and grit that can turn a result one way or another.

"I was really impressed with the players and especially Walter Gargano, who had to play the final minutes with a probable thigh strain.

"I have to praise everyone, as the team really earned this victory and deserved this night in a wonderful stadium."
