Parma boss Roberto Donadoni admits a tense relationship with Antonio Cassano.
Cassano earned an Italy recall and is in the provisional World Cup squad thanks to his performances for Parma.
"I think Antonio had an exceptional season, but I repeat he did so thanks also to the exceptional help from his teammates. Without them, he would've struggled.
"He made me angry at times, I won't deny it, but he can suddenly turn on the light with a pass and change everything. He said he worked harder than ever this year and I am happy to have made him suffer!"
