Parlour insists no reason for Arsenal panic

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour insists there's no reason to panic after recent results.

Parlour is convinced that this year can still be productive, despite last week's Anfield meltdown.

Parlour said: "The first thing you have to consider is that the Premier League is a lot more competitive now than it was when I played for Arsenal.

"When we won Doubles, it was really only Arsenal and Manchester United competing. You did not have Manchester City with the firepower they have got now and while Chelsea were coming up a little bit on the rails, you did not have Liverpool, Everton and Spurs improving the way they currently are.

"So Arsene Wenger would look at this season in that context and say, definitely, this would be his finest moment at Arsenal if he won this year's Premier League title.

"He had that unbeaten season in 2003-04 but if you look at how the Premier League has changed, this win would probably be up there as number one or two in his list of achievements."
