West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker admits Craig Bellamy left the club on bad terms.
Along with the signing of Bellamy, Manchester City are also keen on Parker, but he says: "Craig hasn't been calling me to come up and I don't think that would be welcome to be fair.
"I'd advise him not to. The way he left wasn't on good terms but this is football and that's life.
"Now we just have to look forward and obviously try to forget about Craig and push on. I am owned by West Ham. I want to play and that's it. Everything else is out of my hands.
"If someone rings me tomorrow and says 'we're selling you', they are selling me so I can't do anything about it. But I'm enjoying myself and I feel that I am playing some good stuff along with everyone else.
"If people are going to talk, people are going to talk. That's just the way it is.
"I honestly think that with the manager we've got, given time, we can push on and do something really good."
