Manchester United star Park Ji-sung is less than impressed by the recent decisions of the K-League.
The league refused to release players for tomorrow's international friendly with Australia in Seoul because there were domestic fixtures scheduled for this weekend, but eventually agreed to allow some players to join the squad for training.
National team captain Park believes it is not a good enough policy, especially leading into the World Cup.
"Declining to release players is a shame. Which league in the world runs its games on the international match day?'' Park asked local reporters.
"Of course, it is a matter between the KFA and K-League. But I wonder if the league is anxious to achieve good results at the World Cup.''
