Park Ji-sung is fighting to save his Manchester United career.

The Daily Star says the South Korean, 31, signed a contract extension last summer that ties him to the champions until the end of next season, but he is set to become surplus to requirements at the end of the campaign.

The midfielder is unlikely to be offered another new deal, with United boss Sir Alex Ferguson keen to sell him rather than see him leave for nothing in 2013.
