QPR boss Harry Redknapp feels his decision to start Park Ji-sung against Sunderland on the weekend paid off.
The R's fell behind to the Black Cats when Steven Fletcher scored in the 20th minute but goals from Loic Remy, Andros Townsend and Jermaine Jenas gave the West Londoners a vital victory and Redknapp feels that starting Park in central midfield was a risky choice which paid dividends.
"I took a gamble by playing Ji-sung Park as one of two in midfield - he usually plays wide or in a three. The two of them [Park and Stephane Mbia] were fantastic," he said.
"We played with two out-and-out wingers and two strikers and I liked the look of us. We looked like an attacking force and that's the best I've seen us going forward."
