Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish admits he'll be seeking talks with former manager Neil Warnock about replacing Ian Holloway.
Warnock will be approached by Parish for his guidance, although the Selhurst Park chief does not anticipate a return to South London for the 64-year-old, who has been out of work since parting company with Leeds United in April.
"I'll be calling Neil and asking for his advice," Parish said.
"A lot of people here have got a lot of affection for him and he did very well while he was here.
"But the impression I get is that Neil has moved on in his life. If Neil rang me and said 'I think I can do this for you' then it's something you'd consider.
"Him and his wife live down in the West Country and they've got a very nice life and he's committed to that."
