Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish insists they won't pay over the odds for new players this summer.

Parish admitted that Palace are being asked to pay a high price to live the high life.

He revealed: "Everyone is window shopping and some silly prices are being asked for players at the moment.

"When we get on the phone, people just think we have a lot of money - they think of a number then double it.

"If others are going to pay that, it is up to them. But we know what we can afford to spend and we will stick to our guns."
