Crystal Palace co-owner Steve Parish has reaffirmed their interest for QPR striker Andy Johnson.
Palace were unsuccessful in their attempt to re-sign the former England international on transfer deadline day but will try again in the new year.
"We will have to see what happens," said Parish.
"He is a QPR player for now and we wish him luck. We wish we could have brought him back - it would have been a great lift for everyone - but it wasn't to be.
"We've got to put that behind us and carry on with what we've got and we're very happy with the players we've got at the club."
