Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish insists they never moved for VitoriaGuimaraes striker Amido Balde.
Balde is in Glasgow this week to sign for Celtic.
Parish told the Croydon Advertiser: "We haven't made an offer.
"It is a total fabrication and we have never heard of him or spoken to his representatives."
