Parish: Future Crystal Palace owners would have to keep Pardew

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has made it clear that any prospective future owner of the club would have to persist with current manager Alan Pardew.

Reportedly, Parish has been in talks with American multi-billionaire Josh Harris, who also owns the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, for several months.

"We think we have the club going in the right direction, it doesn't need to be turned upside down, shaken and changed drastically”, Parish told Sky Sports.

"I don't think there is any possibility for the four (co-owners) of us, that there is a structure which doesn't involve the current management."

“Equally it's not the right thing for the club if we sell it to the wrong person and they make bad decisions and we end up back where we were again. It's a delicate process. It's really important how the club is managed going forward.”

"Obviously we have been talking to one group of people in particular. The Premier League is the biggest sporting league in the world, bar none. Don't let anyone tell you different because if they do, I will give you all the facts that prove them wrong.”
