Crystal Palace are eyeing a 'younger' candidate for the manager's post.
Eagles co-chairman Steve Parish will meet with potential successors to Ian Holloway on Sunday and Monday.
"We're seeing people on Sunday and Monday," he explained during an interview with BT Sport.
"Ideally we want someone who is available now because if they're in a club it gets messy and complicated.
"We're going to do our best to get it done as quickly as possible.
"Premier League experience would be a plus. But we're also perhaps thinking about a younger manager with someone who has Premier League experience to help them.
"A connection to the club never hurts as well. People always get a little bit more time if there is a bit of affection from the fans towards them."
