Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has denied reports of Alan Pardew replacing manager George Burley.
Palace are only two points adrift of safety but, if the situation is allowed to drift, Pardew might provide the perfect solution. The former West Ham and Charlton boss is available and will always be loved around Selhurst Park for scoring the winner against Liverpool that took the club to the FA Cup Final at Wembley in 1990.
Parish said: "There is absolutely no truth in the story. I've never met or spoke to Alan Pardew."
