Espanyol defender Nico Pareja admits Barcelona star Lionel Messi is struggling under the weight of expectations from the Argentina public. Pareja, who has played with Messi for various Argentina age-group teams, revealed: "It's normal, people love him a lot there and Leo has to prove himself everytime on the field.
"He is experiencing a difficult situation in Argentina, but he remains the best in the world. I think that he leaves everything on the field like everyone else, but not in all games can he play well.
"He's a great guy and the best player in the world so you have to support him."
