Pardew's attacking style welcomed by Crystal Palace hero Murray

Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray has praised the attacking style manager Alan Pardew has implemented at Selhurst Park.

Palace's wonderful renaissance under Pardew continued after they managed a fine 2-1 victory over champions Manchester City on Monday night and the win means that the Eagles have managed an impressive 22 points from 11 matches under the 53-year old's tutelage.

Apart from the points, Palace have looked a much more attractive side since the turn of the year and now striker Murray has hailed Pardew for applying such an expansive style of play for the south Londoners.

"I think ever since the gaffer's come in he's been uplifting results and the boys have reacted to that," Murray told the club's official website.

"We're a happy group at the minute. He's just made it more attacking, obviously the two wide boys and 'Punch' [Puncheon] can get on the ball and sort of express themselves and I benefit off the back of that."
