Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is eager to add to his squad this summer.
Following news of the club's £90 million turnover - a profit of £23m - Palace can afford to look upwards and indeed bring in extra quality.
"What it (the financial news) suggests is that the club is on a great financial footing," he said.
"our communication with our fans is very good, we're trying to improve the football team, the facilities at the stadium and training ground, and just grow the football club as quickly as we can.
"We have got a good base of players here. Three or four additions to the group we have in the summer, we could be a strong candidate for the top ten.
"We need to recruit well, it's the key really in the Premier League to progress."
