Pardew wants consistency from Crystal Palace

Alan Pardew has implored his Crystal Palace side to continue on in the same vein that saw them beat Stoke City 4-1 on Sunday.

Goals from James Tomkins, Scott Dann, James McArthur and Andros Townsend saw the Eagles string two wins and an unbeaten run of three matches together following a pair of defeats to kick off the campaign.

Pardew said: "(My) team knew what they were doing today. Our passing options, the shape of the team, the power of the team...

"Now we have to look to consistency. If we can have that level of performance again, we'll have a good season."

The result saw Palace move up to eighth position on the table as Stoke remains rooted to the foot of the table with just a point from their five outings.
