Pardew's West Brom future decided against Huddersfield

West Brom boss Alan Pardew's future is on the line this weekend.

The Irish Independent says Pardew is fighting for his future at West Brom while facing a crucial Premier League clash with Huddersfield Town this weekend.

Pardew's position is under huge scrutiny from Albion's top brass and a heavy defeat against Huddersfield on Saturday could end his reign at the Hawthorns after just 12 weeks.

The 56-year-old has secured only one league win since his appointment and a defeat, plus a poor display, may force the Albion hierarchy into taking drastic action as the club faces dropping into the Championship.

Last week's shameful incident in Barcelona, when four senior players allegedly stole a taxi in the early hours of Thursday morning, has damaged Pardew's authority and results are also conspiring to raise the prospect of his early departure.
